我們常會在美國影片的片頭，看到FBI的警語：
FBI WARNING

Federal law provides severe civil and criminal penalties for

the unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or exhibition of

copyrighted motion pictures and video tapes. (Title 17, United States Code,

Sections 501 and 506.)就未經授權重製散布或展示有著作權之影片及影帶，聯邦法規範嚴重的民刑事責任。

The Federal Bureau of Investigation

investigates allegations of criminal copyright infringement.

(Title 17, United States Code, Section 506).聯邦調查局調查著作權刑事侵害之指控。
上述警語，在美國成人片也會見到，依此解釋，美國承認成人片有著作權。而成人片在我國實務上是採取否認的態度。
